Rising damp Cure: There are several ways of dealing with damp. However some work and some do not, please look into the treatment and the company you choose before you sign anything. There are a lot of cowboys out there, with their so called damp meters.With Damp if you can’t see any signs of it then you don’t have it. Our solution: We remove the infected covering, treat the area with an efflorescence neutralizer, seal walls to form a barrier and decorate with a high quality paint containing fungicidal agents. This is our tried and tested way, which we have used for over 5 years with complete success (Please see our Testimonials). Penetrating damp/ Traumatic DampCure: Firstly establish the cause. If it’s coming from the pillars then its likely to be a leaky pipe; if the damp patch is on the ceiling, then the roof or patio above needs re-sealing; if the damp patch is on the walls then it is highly likely that by repainting the outside of the house with a good quality exterior paint will solve this problem. If its coming from around the window/door frames then the frames/ surrounds need re-sealing with a good quality sealent. Condensation:Cure: The easy answer is to open the windows when cooking or in the bathroom. If you have a tumble dryer make sure it has a ventilation pipe to the outside and when you use it open the windows in that room. Or the other way is to Install extractor fans into the bathroom’ s, kitchen,  and utility area. And re-decorate with a fungicidal paint.
